I used it with my Cal Labs CD Player direct. Both Electrostatic Panels were removed and rebuilt only 3 months ago. Cabinets are veneered and have some marks and scratches. All drivers are clean and functional. I've put these up against the later model S100 of this series and these are just as good, but with deeper bass due to the larger driver. As a front speaker for an AV Setup, or indeed as mains in a smaller room, these are an exceptionally clean sounding and dynamic speaker. Selectable Voltage too. Also, the service manual is still available online. As those who've heard Electrostatic Tweeters will attest, they're very hard to beat and these are an excellent example.
