I have never heard the c2420 with a36 or a47 but i believe regardless of the combi, they shd sound gd. This the kind of confidence level i have for accuphase products. If you can stretch abit, go for c2450 and a47. Have a chat with Bobby.

Accuphase c-2120 with a-47 or p-4200 or c-2450 with p-4200 or a-36. Who knows there might be an a-37 soon. Imo better pre is Important.

IMO yamaha ysp-5600 atmos soundbar is the best i have heard if u dont mind no hdr pass thru. Not that the rest dont sound good but they lack calibration feature.

Hi Otto. Welcome to Xtremeplace. I was at the HK Hifi Show last week and sat in the Dynaudio Suite for about an hour enjoying the new Contour 20. I have to say that they sounded really good. I have noticed that the new contour series are installed with Esotar2 tweeter, likewise for Focus 380 and some other models. I am wondering then what would be the factor/s that differentiate the speakers from the Confidence series with the the rest of the Dynaudio speakers that are using the same tweeter?

German prices are generally higher than singapore's as far as i can see. The best system i heard is in the VW Tourag installed with Confidence Series. Solid!
