urm go to that shop audio house marketing. look for this pretty tall guy (reckon the tallest in the shop). paid 505 for mine, cash, with minimal bargaining =) just mentioned the VERY tall and big chinese guy who bot from him couple of weeks ago. all the other shops listed at 699, offer to bring down to 650. have been enjoying mine for the past 2 weeks! still dun dare to turn it up too loud yet! haha waiting for some left over speaker cables from my wiring my new place. heard it'll make a difference FREAK.. still havn't send in my warrenty yet.... damn damn

eh, i believe they do have the md version in sg??? ddm31. think i saw it a couple of weeks ago but will cost at least 900 together w the udm31. try sls, there's this shop audio house marketing, located on the first floor, right outside the main door (non air-conditioned area). Pretty cheap

just a question about the feed ? will it still use the current fibre optic connection to the houses? I understand that the connection normally goes to the DB of the house, through a booster, and distributed to the various points in the house. Will the normal cable used for the final distribution run be compatible? thanx!!

was at sls day b4, at 2nd storey shop, think was audio world or something asked about the DM-31, as i saw it there a few months back outta stock, but guy offered to bring it in if I ordered, for $699.. I asked, and he said that they come with Mission speakers. Now, from what i understand from previous posts, the singapore models do NOT come with these speakers, and from what i remembered, the price was much cheaper. abt 400+ ? can anyone confirm on the speakers and price? thanx !!!

I was at adelphi abt a week back, went to this shop, 4th or 5th floor, on the outer circle row of shops (Not on the inner circle, which faces the escalator). Can't remember the name. But they did have a sign saying they sell Quad spkers Having heard so much abt the 11L, i went inside to ask. But the owner said that they've just sold their last pair, and won't be bringing in anymore, cos the production have been moved to China, and doesn't sound as good. something to do with the crossover IF i remembered correctly.

anyone please? esp recommendations for speaker cables?... have to run the cables pretty soon.

I'm thinking of running my speaker cable inside of the walls, with banana jacks (with the whitebox wall face plating) on both ends (one side connecting to amp, the other to speakers). 1) What are some reasonable speaker cables i should use (12 guage)? Prob around $10 per metre ? Me not sure abt the various brands on the market. 2) Any person/contractor who is able to terminate the wires On-Site for me? from the cables to the banana jack ? Thanx!!

hmm whatabout the delivery of the service? Would it still be able to use the exisiting fibre optics cables used presently? or they'll have to relay the cables =(

Just a quick question, From the Mediacorp SmartRadio (DAB) website, http://smartradio.mediacorpradio.com/whatcanisee.htm So any of the Tuners/Receivers on the market come with this function? This would be way useful, know the exact title and artist for the song being played ;D

eh, from what little i've read previously, the pods are designed by either a spin-off from b&w, or ex-b&w designers or something. so maybe?

hehe, yeah .. the LOOKS! that's why i'm kind so interested in them... was thinking of getting 4 of them, and attach them to the wall at ceiling height from each corner of my room. I think, since they released the basspod, kinda helped with that particular short coming. Urm, there's a chance the price increase is mainly due to the Sing dollar going down against the sterling pound? I was at linn asking abt the price of the classik, and the guy had to refer to the exchange rate b4 giving me a quote...

hey.. thanx guys.. appreciate it was at adelphi earlier this week..... looked at a few speakers, but didn't get the chance for the b&w spks the mission 780 didn't do it for me.. really lack of the ooommpphh in the base.. the paradigm studio 20 was pretty gd though.. not exactly super fantastic in the vocals.. but pretty nice bass... man..what exactly am i suppose to look for in a speaker? i mean.. with my previous systems being... hmm.. those 200 bucks sonys, how do i even compare? Oh yeah.. spend most of my time in asia sound. Didn't get THAT bad service as reported previously.. tested out those 2, and the jbl (that correct brand?) actually.. the guy was pretty ok lah.. no attitude nothing.. hope to go down again next week to see other spks.. namely the dynaudio 42, quad 11L , and b&w 602

heh.. thanx yeah.. i DID consider those and was really tempted by them Good looks, small and inconspicuous, cute, and no need to worry as much abt the placement .. but are they considered as those box speakers some of the forums have articles advising against? I'll prob go down adelphi this week. But abit hard to take off during weekday.
