  1. It could be worse. It could be on nine and have bill Lawry commentating.
  2. You should report it to the foxtel Facebook page and you will receive a condescending apology and they will refer it to the channels department or management. But don't post it more than once otherwise they will threaten to not let you post again. Post it three times and you are gone.
  3. The game on 7 mate last night in Sydney was in HD and looked quite nice.
  4. I already have Netflix and Hulu US (along with Foxtel - On an old Platinum bundle through Telstra and it would cost me about the same now to downgrade Foxtel back to basic plus sport plus HD than I am paying now due to Telstras massive price increases for the bundles in the last couple of years) so can't see myself changing anytime soon. Hulu gives me most of the latest FTA TV in the US in HD in a timely manner with some great ads thrown in. None of the local streamers will provide that. Hulu also has a good back catalogue of stuff. Netflix gives me a great back catalogue of stuff plus their own shows like House of Cards and there are a couple of showings coming this year that look pretty good, most of it in HD and even the SD stuff looks much better than Foxtel or FTA SD. I'm looking forward to the iQ3 if the pricing of $150 to upgrade and then same ongoing fees is true. Will try and get it as soon as possible.
  5. Do people on this forum not know about Google? Typing bein sport Australia into google provides the answer to the question.
  6. Go to the foxtel website or guide app and search "impact wrestling" and see what comes up. You're welcome. Since Patrick Delaney has become in charge of Fox Sports he has gotten rid of a lot of the American content (e.g. NFL, MLB) and replaced it with soccer and other stuff so wouldn't be surprised if it is gone. Edit: Noticed a 1.5 hour "free show" was on Main Event HD last night and is also on next Saturday night on Main Event HD. You're welcome.
  7. Impact: noun: a marked effect or influence verb: have a strong effect on someone or something. Nothing about it being positive or negative. I trust this clarifies the comment.
  8. Agree Harlequin. The Foxtel press releases are so full of Waffle it isn't funny. Obviously this is to hide the reality of the situation. Personally I am currently on Platinum so no change in price but the extra HD channels and standardisation of the Fox Sports channels is long overdue. I also currently have a Telstra bundle including Foxtel so will be keen to see what the triple play offer is. Not going to do anything at this stage.
  9. There will be heaps of HD content. I would have thought that with the exception of channel 7's AFL, most of the stuff that is shown across the Fox Sports channels (including Fox Footy) would be recorded in HD.
  10. Lower entry price point and more choice. Platinum has either stayed the same or gone up by $2. Net result. They will lower their ARPU but increase subscriber numbers. A couple of new channels as well including Discovery Kids.
  11. New packages are available on nba.com. Over $300 this year for premium and $250 for standard.
  12. Go next door and ask them why they want it. Would love to know.
  13. Have to watch them on Blu-Ray: Rush - Time Machine - Live in Cleveland AC/DC - Live at River Plate Billy Joel - Live at Shea Stadium Foo Fighters - Live at Wembley Bon Jovi - Live at MSG Also, an oldie on DVD .....Robbie Williams - What we did last summer - Live at Knebworth
  14. Netflix haven't announced anything. It is an article full of speculation about what may or may not happen. If Netflix does launch in Australia it will be a shadow of the version available in the US (personal speculation).
