  1. I too got mine today. And its funny you mention you need an aerial installer as I had one come today to install a point in our house, although not for the plasma. In fact today was an interesting day, we had our new plasma delivered, an aerial installer come to put in an extra TV point, and AC Nelson come to install stuff on our TV's (AC Nelson are the people who do the ratings, they put stuff on your TV to see what your watching). And also, got the new plasma set up, looks fantastic, better than expected, and the in-built tuner is a work of art. Much better than my current Strong SRT 5300.
  2. Yea i had a few problems too Organised to go pick it from the warehouse and save myself the delivery fee (and get it sooner!), but the only way it was going to fit in my car is if I laid it down, and apparently if i did that it would void my warranty!!! Had my car been 5cm taller it would have fit standing up, but oh well. Delivery is now scheduled for tomorrow (Friday). .....waiting......
  3. I too was contacted by the retailer today, I arranged to go pick up the TV and pay the balance at the warehouse, all at my earliest convenience. Very happy, saved money on postage, and will be +1 new Panasonic plasma in the next few days!!! All for a great price!
  4. hmmm Im excited now, eagerly awaiting the call from the retailer. I wonder how long it will take from being contacted by the retailer to actually receiving the TV...?
  5. I recently participated in the Panasonic PX GB. I knew nothing about it GB's, except that somehow, hopefully, I should get a good price for the TV offered in the GB. A thread like this would have been mighty helpful for me to have read before entering into the GB to better understand what happens in a GB and things I should and shouldn't do. While we cant prevent idiots from being idiots, for those of us who do play nice, a thread like this does indeed help.
  6. ^^^^ Damn straight. The majority here are very appreciative of OzStick's efforts, we understand that he has done the best he can and has managed to get a great price for us all. If you expected him to work impossible miracles and then complained when he didnt, then you truly dont deserve to be a part of this. Go get your own price and see how good you do. Make sure you also scan a copy of your receipt, as mentioned earlier, and post it here so we may all laugh and ridicule the ridiculers when you do in fact realise that the prices Chris has achieved are in fact superior.
  7. Hey Very interested in the 42" (th-42px70a), however that is still pricing and delivery dependant. Im in Perth. Thanks
  8. You can get the Strong srt 5006 from http://csvav.com.au/ for only $100 including postage atm. I havent bought anything from these guys yet, but i intent to in the near future. $100 for a $200 unit seems to good to true, especially considering the great reviews this unit has been getting on these forums (except for the remote )
  9. Yea i seriously doubt just how much these salesman know. Altho a bit unrelated, i rung up Hardly Normal looking for a Philips DVP642 DVD player recently, only to be told they didnt stock that brand. I then rung a different store and the salesman told me that ALL HN stores had a special on the unit.
  10. I like the idea of buying the Strong srt 5006 for $100 as well, but it almost sounds too good to be true. Just wondering Sydney have you actually bought the unit of this website, like are they legit? Sorry im a very sceptical person
