  2. Our family went to watch the show at the local theatre and I had to say that I was a bit disappointed with the sound. I suspect the sound issues where from the local theatre, but I know I distinctly heard sounds of mic's being bumped by performers in the earlier parts of the show. Also I remember one part where although we could see the performer singing, there was no sound of him singing (best way to describe it would be, the mic he was using had not yet been switched on, he starts singing and then the mic is activated) Did you get anything like that during your "movie" session? I'm hoping the sound issues where a result of the theatre not the show itself. Agree on Marius, just not a strong performer. I looked up the forums and most people panned him for being weak. I too have the 10th Anniversary DVD and love it, I'm hoping the blu will be just as good. Mil.
  3. I just called the same DFO and they are saying that they will not match the BigW price becuase "they" have looked into the deal and have been informed that the price is a mistake and that BigW have the wrong picture on the catalog. When I said that the catalog clearly also has typed "toy Storey 1, 2, 3" he came back and said that "Head Office" have instructed them NOT to price match, because BigW has made a mistake.

  21. Hello fellow DTV'ers I'm looking at selling my Sony KV-EH36M31 36inch FD (Flat Display) Trinitron WEGA Widescreen HD TV I was wondering if anyone would be interested or could give me some advice on what it might go for? For anyone interested the TV is located in Queanbeyan (next to Canberra) and pick is really the only option as the TV weights in at 94kg and I suspect postage would be a killer ;-) The TV is in excellent condition, remote works, however I cannot locate the manual but I'll look again. It is currently used to view blu-rays via PS3, playing Wii, and watching HD material via WDTV Live. PM me if anyone is interested in buying. Cheers Mil.
  22. Well MS can take the cheap way out if they like. The 360 wont be in a cabinet it's actually going to sit in the open on top of the TV (the TV has a shelf for I'm guessing a VCR or something) I'm just trying to maximise or minimise the RROD issue. that being said, I've read plenty on the net to say, RROD can happen no matter what you try. Thanks again. Mil.
