Hi, I purchased this Vestax PDX D3 Turntable over 10 years ago, it has barely been used, for a total of around 8-10 hours in a home setting only to listen to vinyl and not used in the way this DJ kit was intended. It is practically brand new, completely functional, no marks, blemishes, it is fitted with a Stanton Discmaster cartridge, and i also have a brand new analog to digital stylus cartridge I intended to use to digitise some 12" vinyl, which I never got around to doing. I also have 3 mats as well.
I simply have no need for these items anymore.
I am happy to deliver to metro Melbourne, or for interstate buyers, shipping and insurance at an agreed cost.

Item Condition: Very GoodShipping Options: Pickup available but audition is not available.Suburb or Town: MelbourneState: VICPayment Method: Paypal, EFT Cash on PickupReason for selling: Downsizing
Further information: I am downsizing, so this monstrous HSU Research STF-3 Subwoofer that I have enjoyed for over 10 years for home cinema, has to go.
This unit has a 12" downward firing driver, 300W amplifier, On/Auto/Off power switch, continuously variable 30-90Hz bypassable crossover at 24dB/octave rolloff, 0/180° phase toggle switch, removeable power cord, 56cmH x 39cmW x 59cmD, and weighs approx 35kg.
The unit has been set at a volume level of approx 30% all of it's life, it plays very loud and very deep, best suited to a large room.
It has been placed, in a far corner, protected from any movement and people, so in excellent condition, no discernible marks, scrapes or blemishes.
Original manual included.
Pickup or drop off in the melbourne metro area is available.

Just call logitech support, they fixed the issue perfectly in 10 mins.
See my earlier post.
Or you could try every different pana display in their database and you get lucky . . . or just go by a lotto ticket . . .
Wish i had as much spare time as you guys to pursue the trial and error and error and error approach.

Call logitech Harmony Support directly, my pana px600 has the same input/scroll/select issue, the Logitech harmony remote guys are FANTASTIC !!!
There ARE discrete input commands to take you directly to your required input, for the px600A, I got them working with Logitech's support help.
They looked at my profile while I was logged in, I held the phone for 5-7 mins, then they told me to sync my remote and try it and they have the EXACT list of inputs for my pana 600, and when I want to make changes i select the input I need to switch to for DVD, Foxtel etc, and it just works.
I think they modified their IR database with discrete commands.
They are on 1800 726 063 - 8 am - 5 pm on Saturdays, and 8 am -11 pm weekdays.
Good luck, I wasted 2 days fartassing around with it, then I read on AVFORUMS someone mention the excellent phone support, and then checked there was an australian 1800 number and BINGO.

No Snakes on mine, manufactured Nov 06 in Japan.

Wow this thread got to four pages before the old "purple headed trouser snake" was mentioned... Excellent restraint guys...
I can't help it if my mind is in the gutter, it is attached to my body after all. . . .
-
I've just run the snakes v2 disk on my new Australian PX600A (42").
No snakes, just a little bit of fizzing which is quite minor.
Build date is October 2006, Serial number is ND******
I'm happy with this but will keep a watch out.
Chris
I thought I saw my snake go purple, but the doctor gave me a cream which cleared it up in no time . .

System 36 wasn't a mainframe, System 38 was.
I used to write Cobol programs for a system 36, had a 640K program size limit
Systems 34, 36 & 38 were the great grandfather of the AS400, which became the iSeries and now System i.
The mainframe was a different system altogether, as the System 3x were classified as minicomputers.

One more quick question cyril.
Does the Cable IQ box require a telephone line like the Satellite IQ Box ?
-
Thanks again cyril, no one at foxtel could tell me that.
-
Thanks Cyril, do you know the model no of the cable IQ box, does it use the same remote codes and is it identical in functionality ?
I presume with cable I will now get 7 & 10 via the foxtel service ?
-
I have an IQ Satellite box (my old house had a dish installed) which requires 2 external connections to the satellite for the dual tuners.
I have moved house to an apartment with Foxtel Cable already installed, a wall outlet with one connector.
Foxtel are coming on the 19/1 to do the hookup and install.
Does anyone know what they will do ?
ie Swap out for cable IQ box (are the IQ boxes for cable and satellite different >)
Make a dual connection out of the existing single connection wall plug ? ( so they can reuse my IQ satellite box ?)
No-one in the foxtel call centre could tell me exactly what would occur.
-
Can you also change the aspect ratio/zoom on the pana px600 in built tuner, ? and if so how ?
-
hi gebhard, quite a few people have used avical to calibrate their displays and he does a great job apparently. I'm waiting to get my HDPVR source to be sorted out before doing the same.
usually its the 100 hour mark typically by which a plasma usually settles down.
Thanks Alebonau, I will need this service performed in Sydney, obviuosly it probably wouldn't be the same guy who does it in melbourne, anyone used the Sydney Avical person before for ISF Calibration ?

I've seen another name mentioned on these threads, but here's another. It's about half way through the review of the Pioneer 427 panel. Good luck! Let us know how it goes...
Thanks diesel, I have sent an email to them requesting a quotation, will keep this thread updated as to how it turns out.

Hi all, I will get delivery of a new Pana 42PX600 next week in the Sydney CBD, I was wondering if anyone could recommend someone who could perform an ISF Calibration on the screen.
Also should this be done after the 200 hrs "burn in" period has elapsed, or could it be done straight away.
-
As long as the wife is placated . . .
-
Any idea on when the HD Foxtel might land ?
And what was this info based on ?
-
Everyone gets a better deal than everyone else.
Enjoy your purchase Byron, swings & roundabouts.
