This S40 has sounded great in my system. I have been using it as server and it was a clear step up from the NUC I used previously in this role. I have used it in combination with an S30 as streamer, which I also have up for sale. The two make a great pair and I prefer to sell to a single buyer and will do a deal for the two if you buy both. I am only selling because I am planning to up the Antipodes range at substantially higher price.
The S40 can operate as your Roon server as well as the player, it provides USB & Ethernet output to DAC.
