Electrical Disclaimer Description
I purchased this amp new and it hasn't had a whole lot of use. It includes all the original EL34 tubes. The buyer will also receive matched sets of Gold Lion KT88s and Gold Lion 12AX7s, which I never installed (approx $2800 worth of new valves). I won't separate the new tubes from the purchase of the amp.
This modern tube amplifier has the magical warmth and depth of tubes with modern world technologies applied to it to make it fuss free without impacting sound. The PrimaLuna range is all expertly designed and manufactured to a level that seems impossible for their price.... more importantly the sound has the sublime sound of tubes coupled to a neutral, airy top end without the roll off of many others.
The EVO 400 integrated shares several upgrades that step it up a notch over the EVO 200 and EVO 100 and with twice the output tubes it has the most power of any of the integrated Tube amplifiers in the PrimaLuna range.
My unit is unmarked and comes with remote control. I have the original packaging and can ship at buyer's cost.
I have been very happy with this amp. However, an opportunity to purchase my dream active speakers has presented itself and I'll need to sell my current set up to fund them.
