The Museum of Design in Zurich is turning up the volume this summer as it unveils Pling! Sound and Design, a major exhibition running from 22 May to 20 September 2026. At its heart sits a striking 40 m² Listening Room created exclusively for Zeiler Audio, the Swiss manufacturer known for precision engineering, minimalist aesthetics and emotionally charged sound reproduction.

Positioned as the exhibition’s finale, the Listening Room invites visitors into a world where audio technology becomes architecture. It’s a space designed for deep, focused listening — where the system itself disappears, and only the music remains.

That said, readers might be interested to know that the system in question features Zeiler's SP-01 high-efficiency single-point-source speakers at the end of the PR-01 and PA-01 pre- and power-amplifier duo.

Through curated tracks and sound examples, guests can experience how imaging accuracy, spatial detail and dynamic nuance guide the development of Zeiler’s high‑end components.

Beyond the daily exhibition, Zeiler Audio will host four evening Listening Sessions, each spotlighting a different musical universe: Electronic, Jazz, Contemporary Classical, and Ambient & Drone. Led by founder Ralf Zeiler and special guests, these events require advance registration via the museum’s website.

Zeiler Audio’s inclusion in the exhibition underscores the brand’s growing cultural footprint. Developed and manufactured entirely in Switzerland, the company’s products blend acoustic expertise, circuit innovation and refined material choices.

The company’s collaboration with Zurich design studio FOND Design has shaped a clean, minimalist visual identity that has already earned multiple audio and international design awards.

Pling! Sound and Design is on now until 20 September 2026 at Museum of Design Zurich, Toni Areal, with tickets available here.
