With the 3.5mm audio jack becoming less common in mobile devices, SoundMagic has adapted to the trend by introducing a USB-C connector. This widely-used connector, now even featured on the new iPhone 15 series, makes it easy to use the E80D with a variety of devices, including computers and laptops.

The 10mm neodymium magnetic moving coil drivers inside have been redesigned, with the new drivers being said to deliver engaging, dynamic and enjoyable audio with whatever source the headphones are paired with.
The E80D is equipped with a built-in DAC chip, which supports high-res audio playback up to 24-bit / 96kHz. This means that the E80D is not only an affordable option but also a high-quality one, especially for those who want to fully enjoy Apple Music's High-Resolution Lossless tracks.

The headphones use a silver-plated copper cable similar to the one used in the E11 headphones. SoundMagic claims that the material will "effectively reduce the loss of signal quality and obtain high-resolution sound levels."
The cable includes a microphone module for voice calls and three control buttons for music control and voice assistant activation.
Available in Gunmetal, the SoundMagic E80D has a £39.98 RRP.
