Soundcore Finds Its Voice at CES 2026

Soundcore, the consumer audio brand under Anker Innovations, has used CES 2026 to underline just how far it has come since its early, exploratory steps into the headphone space.

Once best known for charging accessories and power solutions, Anker is now signalling a more confident, product-led push into personal audio and home entertainment, led by Soundcore’s expanding portfolio. For western audiences, Soundcore is a name that has hovered on the periphery for some time. The brand has been particularly strong in the U.S and Asia, where its open-ear designs have gained mass-market traction, but earlier generations felt like a company still finding its footing in the competitive headphone category. Its showing at CES 2026 suggests that phase is now firmly behind it.

The headline audio launch is the AeroFit 2 Pro, which Soundcore is positioning as the world’s first dual-form earbud design. Rather than forcing users to choose between open-ear comfort and in-ear active noise cancellation, the AeroFit 2 Pro aims to deliver both within a single pair of earbuds. A five-level adjustable ear-hook system allows the nozzle to move closer to the ear canal when isolation is required, creating a shallow seal that enables ANC while retaining the lighter, more breathable fit associated with open-ear designs.

Soundcore says the earbuds automatically detect how they are being worn, using built-in sensors to recalibrate EQ in real time so tonal balance remains consistent between modes. In practice, the pitch is flexible: open-ear awareness and long-term comfort for office use or commuting, followed by a switch to ANC when deeper focus or isolation is needed. Adaptive ANC 3.0 is claimed to analyse environmental noise hundreds of thousands of times per second, supported by a multi-mic array for both noise reduction and clearer voice calls.

Beyond the form factor, the AeroFit 2 Pro leans into higher-end specifications than earlier Soundcore efforts, including an 11.8mm custom driver, spatial audio with head tracking, LDAC support for high-resolution wireless playback, and an IP55 rating for sweat and water resistance.

Soundcore’s CES story, however, is not limited to earbuds. The company has also unveiled the Nebula P1i projector, reinforcing its ambition to be seen as more than just an audio brand. The compact projector combines a 1080p image with 380 ANSI lumens and a sealed, dust-resistant optical engine, but its most distinctive feature is its audio-led design. Fold-out speakers can rotate both horizontally and vertically, allowing sound to be directed towards the listening position rather than firing indiscriminately into the room.

Each speaker houses a 10-watt full-range driver in a dual-chamber enclosure, delivering 2.0-channel stereo sound with Dolby Audio support. The approach is clearly aimed at addressing one of the long-standing compromises of portable projectors, where image quality often outpaces audio performance. The Nebula P1i also integrates Google TV with licensed Netflix support, along with automatic setup features such as keystone correction and obstacle avoidance, and a carry-friendly design suited to backyard movie nights or travel.

Taken together, the AeroFit 2 Pro and Nebula P1i feel like a statement of intent. Rather than existing at the edges of audio and AV, Soundcore is making a more deliberate entry into established categories. For Anker, it marks a broader brand evolution, extending its reputation for functional consumer tech into more lifestyle-driven products.

The Soundcore AeroFit 2 Pro earbuds are scheduled to go on sale this month, priced at US$179. The Soundcore Nebula P1i portable projector is expected to launch in the first quarter of 2026, with pricing set at US$369. Regional pricing and availability for both products are yet to be confirmed.
