Promising a high-octane demonstration of just how far top-shelf audio can go. Running from August 29–31 at the Pullman in Albert Park, the showcase is shaping up to be a genuine highlight of the 2025 event calendar.

Far from your typical one-brand, one-system exhibit, Sound Gallery plans to transform State Room 3 into a multi-system haven, offering visitors a rare opportunity to hear a range of the world’s most respected hi-fi brands side by side. Expect carefully curated setups from Linn, Devialet, Gryphon, Estelon, dCS, Nordost, Wilson Audio, Marten, Audia Flight and ZenSati — with representatives from many of these brands on hand to run demonstrations and answer questions throughout the weekend.

Nigel Ng, Managing Direct of Advance Audio, told StereoNET:

Usually, exhibits at hi-fi shows involve getting a room, putting one system in, and inviting manufacturers to do presentations. This will be similar, except visitors will be exposed to more of what’s possible if they work with Sound Gallery. It’s an approach I’ve seen at the Hong Kong High-End show, and it’s stunning.

It’s a concept designed to let serious listeners experience first-hand how various components and philosophies translate into very different musical outcomes. Among the new gear that visitors can look forward to seeing — and hearing — are Wilson Audio’s Sabrina V loudspeakers, the Lina DAC X by dCS, Devialet’s recently unveiled Astra amplifier, Linn’s Solo 500 monoblocks and Bedrock LP12 turntable, as well as Nordost’s flagship QNET7 network switch, all working in synergy with a supporting cast of world-class cables and accessories.

According to Nigel Ng, Sound Gallery’s owner, John Ong, is ideally suited to bring such an ambitious showcase to life:

John is the most knowledgeable dealer in the hi-fi industry that I have ever met. He’s extremely meticulous and pours his attention over his customers, exemplifying everything the hi-fi business desperately needs.

The Sound Gallery experience promises an immersive, rotating program of demonstrations across the three days of the show. Whether you’re in the market for your next serious upgrade or just curious to hear some of the world’s finest audio engineering at full tilt, it’s likely to be an unmissable stop on the show floor.

The StereoNET Hi-Fi & AV Show runs from August 29-31 at the Pullman Hotel & Convention Centre, Queens Road, Albert Park. Tickets are on sale now.
