The new ShawlineX ARAY is the latest in a line of handmade-in-the-UK cables from Chord Company to benefit from its Cross-linked Polythene (XPLE) dielectric and follows similar upgrades in the form of the SignatureX and EpicX ARAY interconnect announcements earlier this year.

Built with high-quality silver-plated conductors, complex layers of shielding, and Chord Company's proprietary ARAY geometry, the company states, "ShawlineX ARAY has been designed to enhance a wide range of systems, thanks to achievable pricing for a handmade cable."

The ShawlineX ARAY also benefits from Chord Company's ChorAlloy-plated VEE 3 RCA, DIN or XLR connectors, plus the latest factory technologies, finessed over the AV specialist's near-40-year history.

The Shawline range is comprehensive, boasting a dedicated tonearm cable, mini-jack options, HDMI AOC, power and speaker cables, and various digital connections.

The ShawlineX ARAY is priced from £210 (0.5 m) and is available now with custom lengths and terminations to order. It also comes with a generous lifetime warranty against defective materials and workmanship.
