Renaissance distribution's suite of rooms at next month's Hi-Fi Live Show will showcase products from VPI, Nordost, Audiovector and MOON, with several items making their UK show debut.
During the show weekend of September 10th and 11th, the Renaissance team will host a series of demonstrations exploring the systems' capabilities in demonstrations that promise to thrill the audience.
Firstly, VPI's new Avenger Direct will make its UK show debut as part of Renaissance's ultimate reference system in rooms 308-310. The latest turntable from the Cliffwood, New Jersey-based company combines an advanced version of the direct drive technology of VPI's HW-40 with the Avenger Series' tripod chassis to create "a truly special record player", says Renaissance.

The Avenger Direct comes equipped with the renowned VPI Fatboy tonearm and offers extra versatility as it can be fitted with multiple tonearms of any length and make. Furthermore, the direct drive's 33⅓ and 45rpm functionality ensures the vinyl is ready to spin at the press of a beautifully engineered button.
Meanwhile, Nordost's new QNET premium quality audio streaming switch will also be a central component of the Renaissance reference system.

This layer-2, fiveport ethernet switch designed for maximum performance received much praise at this year's High End Munich show. No matter if music is streamed from a local server, a NAS drive, or from the internet, upgrading a digitally run system with Nordost's QNET will improve it dramatically, we are told.
Making its Hi-Fi Live Show debut is Danish high-end speaker brand, Audiovector. The reference system will feature the company's highly praised and award-winning R 8 Arreté floorstanding loudspeakers, which will undoubtedly fill the room with amazingly detailed sound.

Naturally, star products from the pinnacle of MOON's range: 780D v2 reference streaming DAC, 740P preamplifier, 820S power supply and two 860A v2 dual-mono power amplifiers will also be in attendance. Joining everything together will be a complete Nordost Valhalla V2 cabling loom.

For those looking for a premium hi-fi setup for a smaller space, there will also be a more compact system on demonstration in room 313.
MD of Renaissance, John Carroll, told StereoNET:

The Hi-fi Live Show takes place at the Ascot Racecourse Grandstand on the 10th and 11th of September. Renaissance will be in rooms 308 – 310 and 313.
