Qobuz, the French-based hi-res music streaming and download platform much loved by StereoNET, is marking its 15th anniversary by bolstering its commitment to sound quality and musical discovery.

Qobuz 15 years

Since 2007 Qobuz has helped unearth new artists and tracks for listeners as well as enabled them to enjoy and rediscover old favourites. The platform has offered its community an elevated listening and exploration experience for fifteen years through human-curated playlists, unique editorial content, artist interviews, liner notes, and more.

Qobuz 15 years

Qobuz has marked the anniversary by celebrating its community of dedicated music enthusiasts through a campaign conceived and produced by the creative production company Left. The company states that it features people who live and breathe their passion for music with the support of Qobuz's unique and enriching music experience.

The campaign is built around a 'hero' film, Qobuz - 15 Years Of Passion & Musical Discovery which you can watch below. The video features commentary by Qobuz's Chief Marketing Officer, Raphael Awóṣéyìn, and Chief Music Officer, Marc Zisman. Additionally, three short docu-films showcase personal narratives, highlighting how Qobuz stands apart.

Through each short docu-film, we are introduced to three members of the Qobuz community who explain their relationship to music and the importance of sound quality, musical discovery, and human recommendations in their daily lives - Aline Melo, singer/jazz and bossa nova enthusiast; Perceval Carré, sound engineer in pursuit of sonic perfection; and Kisa, DJ and avid collector.

Raphael Awóṣéyìn, Chief Marketing Officer of Qobuz, told StereoNET:

We believe that music makes our world and our lives more beautiful, more vibrant and more connected. This is especially true for music enthusiasts, for whom music is central. This campaign is an opportunity to pay tribute to them and to reaffirm our commitment to providing an experience that respects artists and their works.
