After a few years’ of absence from the UK market, Norma Audio is returning to the UK market with its launch of the new HS-IPA1 integrated amplifier.

The modular amplifier is available in a variety of configurations and can include a customisable MM/MC phono stage, DAC, and a dedicated Class A headphone amplifier with variable Ohms to match the best available headphones on the market.

Norma Audio HS-IPA1

The compact (H 118mm x W 214mm x D 370mm) Norma Audio HS-IPA1 uses Class AB amplification to produce a powerful, low distortion amplifier with a very low noise floor. The HS-IPA1 is capable of a conservatively quoted 75wpc into 8ohms, doubling into 4ohms. This amplifier's power supply section is the same as the one found in the REVO IPA140 amplifier, which will also be making an appearance at the show.

The digital section of the HS-IPA1 uses two clocks - one for 44kHz and one for 48kHz sampling rates - and a Burr-Brown DSD1794 DAC chip, which will cover files up to 24bit/192kHz, and also DSD files up to DSD64.

The HS-IPA1 amplifier provides four analogue inputs as standard, with one of these being utilised if the high-quality MM/MC phono stage is added.

Add in the digital package, and you get two optical and two coaxial digital inputs, as well as an asynchronous USB input.

Norma DS-1

Alongside the all-new HS-IPA1 and the acclaimed REVO 140 amplifier will be Norma’s unique CD player the REVO DS-1. Notably, the REVO DS-1 has a class-leading DAC with five digital inputs onboard utilising Burr Brown PCM 1704 chipsets.

Norma Audio HS-IPA1 hi-fi amplifier is priced at fully loaded £3650, or analogue only from £2595.

You will find Norma Audio along with Atacama in the 2nd Floor in Room 210.
