The new model builds on the original FoKus Apollo, which StereoNET covered in 2024 as Noble’s first over-ear ANC headphone and one of the more unusual entries in the premium wireless category, thanks to its dynamic and planar magnetic driver arrangement.
That hybrid driver concept remains the Apollo Pro’s main point of difference. Rather than relying solely on a conventional dynamic driver, Noble pairs a 40mm dynamic driver with a 14.5mm planar magnetic driver, using the former for low-frequency weight and physicality while leaning on the planar unit for speed, clarity and detail retrieval. It is still a rare approach in a wireless ANC headphone, where most rivals tend to focus more heavily on noise cancellation, app features, spatial audio or ecosystem integration.

With the Apollo Pro, Noble has not reinvented the platform from scratch. Instead, the company appears to have treated it as a more polished and premium interpretation of the same idea, adding revised acoustic tuning, updated materials, new finishes and a more refined physical presentation.
The headphones continue to use Qualcomm’s QCC3084 wireless platform and support Noble’s FoKus companion app, giving users access to playback settings, EQ adjustments and other headphone functions. Codec support is listed as SBC, AAC, aptX, aptX HD and LDAC, with Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, multipoint pairing, ANC, transparency mode and over-the-air firmware updates also included.

Although unchanged from the original FoKus Apollo, battery life remains an area where the Apollo Pro makes a strong case against its premium wireless rivals. Noble quotes up to 80 hours of playback with ANC switched off, or up to 60 hours with ANC active. That is well beyond the 30 to 40 hour territory occupied by several ANC competitors, giving the Apollo Pro a practical advantage for travel, office use, or listeners who simply do not want to think about charging every few days.
The external changes are more obvious. Noble has introduced updated fabric finishes, revised gunmetal accents, upgraded fabric cabling and new ear pad materials, along with more compact packaging. The Apollo Pro is available in Burgundy and Peacock finishes, giving it a more boutique feel than the typical black-and-silver premium ANC headphone.

From what Noble has shared so far, the Apollo Pro does not feel like a major rethink of the core wireless platform. It is not being pitched as a dramatic step forward in ANC or smart features. The changes are more about polish: revised tuning, upgraded materials, and smaller usability touches such as spoken voice prompts replacing standard alert tones for key functions and mode changes. It is a minor detail, but it helps the Apollo Pro feel more considered than a simple specification bump.

The FoKus Apollo Pro was shown at CanJam Singapore 2026, held recently on 16 and 17 May, with global availability beginning through Noble Audio and specialist retailers. Pricing is listed at US$699 | £649 | €749 | A$999.
