Mitchell & Brown announces its JB-65UHD18114KBLA 65-inch TV and aims to follow the success of last year's UHD18114KBL series of near borderless 4K smart TVs.
The new flagship LED TV features native 4K UHD (3840 by 2160 pixels) resolution, advanced image processing, support for a raft of HDR formats including HLG and Dolby Vision and services such as Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime and Freeview Play built-in.
The JB-65UHD18114KBLA features a built-in video scaling engine will smoothly upscale standard and high-definition sources to make the most of the 4K resolution screen.
This latest Mitchell & Brown TV boasts 2 x 12W RMS amplifiers for its main loudspeakers and built-in active subwoofer. We're told that this combination offers crisp, intelligible dialogue for day-to-day TV viewing, with vivid effects and deep bass for sports and movie action. In addition, there are plenty of audio outputs for those looking to take their cinema sound a stage further, including optical SPDIF and eARC over HDMI.
The Mitchell & Brown announces its JB-65UHD18114KBLA runs on the latest 2022 iteration of Android TV and integrates Google Assistant for voice control. The tile-based intuitive interface mimics the familiar mobile platform. The top row of the home screen is the Content Discovery Bar, which offers suggested content based on the user's previous viewing habits and searches. The results are pulled from across broadcast TV and smart TV services, making for seamless integration of all available TV content. The platform also offers instant access to all the major streaming services, including Netflix, Amazon Prime, YouTube, NowTV, Disney+ and many more.
The near borderless design of the new 65-incher reduces the bezel to just a few millimetres, giving this big screen entertainer the same contemporary style as flagship TVs from the world's largest brands. However, unlike those global brands, UK-based Mitchell & Brown offers a comprehensive 7-year parts and labour warranty on every TV in its range, including this latest 65-inch flagship model.
The Mitchell & Brown 65-inch JB-65UHD18114KBLA will be available through independent electrical retailers across the UK from April 2022 with an SRP of £849.99.
The rest of the KBL series TVs have been updated with Android TV OS for 2022 and are available now with SRPs starting at just £549.99 for the 43-inch 4K set.
