Linn's Majik LP12 is the second Linn source to get a boost in performance following on from the August launch of the new Majik DSM. Linn has now turned its focus to its Majik LP12: the entry-level variant of the iconic turntable.

We have been informed that the Majik LP12 will be soon sporting a new tonearm dubbed Krane which has been produced in partnership with Clearaudio, the much-respected German turntable brand. The new tonearm will replace the current Majik tonearm from November.
The Krane tonearm, which is based on an existing Clearaudio model, has been improved and modified to Linn's specifications, says the Glasgow-based hi-fi maker.
Gilad Tiefenbrun, Linn Managing Director, told StereoNET
We see this change as an opportunity to deliver increased performance from Majik LP12, with the new Krane tonearm achieving ever greater detail from the record for even better sound quality. Krane, coupled with the improvements provided by the new Karousel bearing, propels Majik LP12 performance to another level and firmly retains its position of best value, highest performing entry-level turntable.
Will we share more information, including pricing, closer to the official launch of the tonearm in November. So, stay tuned!
