Lamborghini for the Living Room as iXOOST Unleashes the ESAVOX

If you’ve ever wished your living room sounded as dramatic as a V12 at full send, iXOOST may have just built your dream—or your downfall.

The Italian luxury audio atelier has pulled the covers off ESAVOX, a £35,000 Bluetooth sound system formed around an actual Lamborghini™ Aventador exhaust. And yes, it’s likely to be as gloriously impractical as it sounds.

Unveiled recently in Modena, ESAVOX is the latest creation from iXOOST, a brand already known for turning supercar components into high-end audio sculptures. This one pushes the idea right to the rev limiter: a 63kg cabinet built around a carbon-fibre monocoque, featuring hexagonal aero-inspired bodywork, and a genuine centre-exit Aventador exhaust that sits proudly in the middle of the design.

The resemblance to a Lamborghini™ isn’t subtle, nor is it meant to be. Each of the 63 limited-edition units is hand-finished in iconic Sant’Agata shades, including Green Gea, Grey Keres Matte, Orange Anthaeus, Red Epona, Blue Uranus, and White Siderale. Even the power button pays homage, mimicking the Start/Stop switch you’d find beneath the fighter-jet-style flap inside a real Lambo.

As iXOOST CEO Giovanni Panini puts it:

The ESAVOX hi-fi system is a unique sound project, conceived to highlight Lamborghini’s unrivalled design, even outside the automotive field. The result is a unique listening experience.

The theatrics, however, sit atop a surprisingly serious audio platform. Behind the supercar swagger lies a stereo architecture built around a pair of one-inch tweeters, two 6.5-inch mid-bass drivers, and a down-firing 10-inch subwoofer, all powered by 640 watts of amplification. Bluetooth 5.0 (courtesy of AudioB Plus) and traditional RCA keep things simple, while the integrated DSP and thermal protection suggest ESAVOX is more than just a collector’s display piece. With a stated frequency range of 20–22,000Hz, it aims to sound as bold as it looks.

Of course, ESAVOX isn’t so much a speaker as an event—a piece of automotive theatre designed for luxury homes, design studios, or the kind of garage where the floor is shinier than most people’s kitchen benches. Unsurprisingly, the UK exclusive belongs to Harrods, where we understand the Green Gea model is currently on display for anyone eager to pair their garage stable with something equally expressive indoors.

iXOOST is distributed in the UK by HEA Distribution, whose portfolio includes Astell&Kern, Campfire Audio, and Kii Audio—brands similarly positioned at the intersection of high performance and high design. The partnership aims to push iXOOST further into luxury interior, lifestyle, and high-end home audio spaces, beyond its traditional automotive enthusiast following.

Pricing reflects the spectacle: £34,999 from Harrods and other select luxury retailers, perfect for anyone who feels their living room décor has been missing a mandrel-bent titanium centre-exit exhaust.

applause awards

Each time StereoNET reviews a product, it is considered for an Applause Award. Winning one marks it out as a design of great quality and distinction – a special product in its class, on the grounds of either performance, value for money, or usually both.

Applause Awards are personally issued by StereoNET’s global Editor-in-Chief, David Price – who has over three decades of experience reviewing hi-fi products at the highest level – after consulting with our senior editorial team. They are not automatically given with all reviews, nor can manufacturers purchase them.

The StereoNET editorial team includes some of the world’s most experienced and respected hi-fi journalists with a vast wealth of knowledge. Some have edited popular English language hi-fi magazines, and others have been senior contributors to famous audio journals stretching back to the late 1970s. And we also employ professional IT and home theatre specialists who work at the cutting edge of today’s technology.

We believe that no other online hi-fi and home cinema resource offers such expert knowledge, so when StereoNET gives an Applause Award, it is a trustworthy hallmark of quality. Receiving such an award is the prerequisite to becoming eligible for our annual Product of the Year awards, awarded only to the finest designs in their respective categories. Buyers of hi-fi, home cinema, and headphones can be sure that a StereoNET Applause Award winner is worthy of your most serious attention.
