The Canadian company is prepared to draw back the curtain on its next-gen Tuk and Yu loudspeaker lines and introduce the Tuk Grand at AXPONA 2026 this weekend.

Kanto Audio may well have chosen the Illinois event to officially reveal its new models, but StereoNET had already managed a quick sneak preview of some of them earlier this year.
Tuk Transformed
The revamped Tuk gains a more defined, square-cornered profile, with Kanto proclaiming that this “enhances both aesthetics and acoustics.” We’re told that the remodel reduces edge diffraction while contributing to a cleaner, more focused soundstage.

The tweaked Tuk also benefits from increased cabinet volume, providing a more stable acoustic foundation for the drivers.
Meanwhile, a revised AMT tweeter design and refined waveguide geometry promise smoother high-frequency response, improved detail, and more consistent performance across a wider listening area.

Finally, connectivity updates include Bluetooth 5.4 (AptX HD), USB-C and two RCA line-in options alongside a TOSLINK optical connection.
New Yu
The latest generation Yu4 and Yu6 continue Kanto’s core philosophy: “high-quality sound delivered through accessible, thoughtfully designed products.”

Here, they offer new integrated drivers with a wider soundstage, plus DSP tuning and updated electronics, resulting, according to the British Columbia-based firm, in a solid upgrade over the original versions.
The Yu’s cabinet and front baffle have been redesigned to deliver a “more refined, modern aesthetic” while improving acoustic performance through better driver integration and dispersion.

Powered versions feature integrated amplification and connectivity, including Bluetooth 5.3, phono, USB-C, RCA, and subwoofer output - making them well-suited for modern homes, desktop setups, and creative environments.

The updated passive versions carry forward the same cabinet architecture and acoustic improvements, offering flexibility for listeners who prefer to pair speakers with external amplification.
Kanto Audio Tuk Grand
Announced as the most ambitious speaker Kanto has created to date, the Tuk Grand has been designed to deliver greater scale and presence.

Building on the foundation of the original Tuk, the Grand sports a larger cabinet (12 x 7.3 x 10 inches [HxWxD]) that increases internal volume and features refined driver integration.

We’re told to expect a more expansive soundstage, improved low-frequency extension, and a more immersive listening experience overall.
The Tuk Grand also benefits from the newly-enhanced AMT tweeter, retaining detail while offering “a truly balanced sound.”
