Jamo is looking to wow visitors to High End Vienna 2026 by unveiling its all-new Concert loudspeaker series. Covering two ranges, the Jamo Concert Legacy and Jamo Concert Element, the revitalised brand is hoping to appeal to a broad spectrum of music lovers.

Jamo's relaunch is overseen by Cinemaster and Rayleigh Lab, with a commitment to preserving Danish design DNA while enhancing engineering and manufacturing.

Xiaodong Yang (CEO, Cinemaster) leads the comeback, backed by Thomas Li (founder/CEO, Rayleigh Lab) on engineering and production. Design credits include Kim Michel, Simon Matthews, Jamie Cobb, and Copenhagen studio HarritSørensen (founded by Thomas Harrit and Nicolai Sørensen).

Although we have previously covered the ten-speaker Concert home cinema line from 2014 and the Concert 9 II of 2019, one thing is clear - this isn’t a nostalgia trip. Jamo wants these to look and perform like new speakers, with a Scandinavian-style up front.

Jamo Concert Legacy

Concert Legacy is the premium, passive range. The names nod to the original Concert 8 and Concert 11 from 1996.

Jamo clarifies this is not a direct reissue; instead, the intent is to envision the Concert series as it would naturally evolve over three decades.

Legacy is said to be made in Denmark, with driver development involving Scan-Speak (Denmark) and SEAS (Norway). Jamo also points to Finnish wood fibre in the woofer cone material.

The headline tech is DualCore: bass and midrange live in separate zones to keep the midband cleaner when things get loud. Add down-firing ports, and Jamo is clearly chasing easier real-world placement. Three models lead the charge: Concert Legacy 11 (flagship floorstander), Concert Legacy 9 (smaller floorstander), and Concert Legacy 8 (standmount).

Concert Legacy 11

The Concert Legacy 11 is the range's flagship, presented as a 3-way bass-reflex floorstander.

Armed with three 165mm Scan-Speak woofers, a 165mm SEAS aluminium/magnesium midrange, and a 25mm Scan-Speak soft-dome tweeter up top. DualCore keeps the mid/tweeter in a sealed upper chamber, mechanically decoupled from bass pressure.

On paper, it’s 94dB sensitive into 4 ohms, with a quoted 32Hz–21kHz response (and a low-frequency cut-off number listed as 26Hz). Crossover points sit at 250Hz and 3kHz. Jamo recommends 50–250W of amplification.

Each speaker is a hefty 47.5 x 12.1 x 18.9 inches and 88.2lb.

Concert Legacy 9

The Concert Legacy 9 keeps the 3-way recipe and DualCore build, but drops to two 165mm Scan-Speak woofers. The midrange is again a 165mm SEAS aluminium/magnesium unit, with a 25mm Scan-Speak soft-dome tweeter.

Specs read 92dB into 4 ohms, with a quoted 33Hz–21kHz response (and a low-frequency cut-off figure listed as 27Hz). Crossover points are listed at 250Hz and 3kHz, and the amp recommendation is 40–200W.

Size is 39.6 x 12.1 x 18.9 inches, weight 79.4lb each.

Concert Legacy 8

The Concert Legacy 8 is the standmount option: a 165mm SEAS aluminium/magnesium midwoofer plus a 25mm Scan-Speak soft dome.

Jamo highlights real oak veneer, a 40mm front baffle, bi-wire terminals, and a down-firing port to take some of the drama out of placement.

It’s quoted at 87dB into 4 ohms, with a stated 34Hz–21kHz response (and low-frequency cut-off listed as 28Hz). Crossover is listed at 3kHz, with 40–200W recommended.

Dimensions are 14.4 x 9.9 x 14.6 inches, and the weight is 26.5lb each.

Jamo Concert Element

Concert Element is the more lifestyle-leaning side of the launch, created with Copenhagen design house HarritSørensen. Jamo calls it “circle over rectangle”: a bold, round driver pod pushing out from a slim cabinet. Like Legacy, these are passive speakers with down-firing ports.

Drivers are sourced from SB Acoustics and tuned for each model. The line-up includes the Element 50 (bookshelf), Element 70 (compact floorstander), Element 90 (larger floorstander), and the matching Element SW10 sub. Finishes offered are Onyx and Northern Frost, with magnetic grilles provided in dark grey and light grey.

Concert Element 90

Element 90 is the big one: a 3-way bass-reflex floorstander with a 250mm woofer, a 165mm midrange, and a 25mm soft-dome tweeter.

Jamo claims Scandinavian nettle fibre cones for the woofer and mid, plus a dual-chamber cabinet (ported bass, sealed mid) and a down-firing port for easier positioning.

It’s quoted at 87dB into 4 ohms, with a 35Hz–22kHz (±3dB) bandwidth and a low-frequency cut-off of 30Hz (–6dB). Power-wise, Jamo suggests 60–250W.

Each speaker measures 43.8 x 12.6 x 14 inches and weighs 73.2lb.

Concert Element 70

Element 70 follows the same design language in a slimmer, smaller floorstanding package.

It’s a 3-way bass-reflex design with a 200mm woofer, 130mm midrange, and a 25mm soft-dome tweeter, again with nettle-fibre cones and a down-firing port.

Jamo quotes 87dB sensitivity into 4 ohms, a 40Hz–22kHz (±3dB) bandwidth, and a low-frequency cut-off of 35Hz (–6dB). Recommended amplification is 50–200W.

Size is 40 x 10.8 x 12 inches, and weight is 41.4lb each.

Concert Element 50

Element 50 is the bookshelf model, built to work on shelves without fuss. It’s a 2-way bass-reflex design with a 165mm woofer and a 25mm soft-dome tweeter, plus a down-firing port aimed at friendlier near-wall placement.

It’s rated at 89.5dB into 4 ohms, with a 45Hz–22kHz (±3dB) bandwidth and a low-frequency cut-off listed at 40Hz (–6dB). Jamo recommends 40–150W of power.

Dimensions are 14.9 x 12.5 x 10.6 inches, and the weight is 18.3lb.

Concert Element SW10 Subwoofer

The Element SW10 is the matching subwoofer, built around a 250mm long-throw driver and Class D amplification rated at 150W RMS (300W max). You also get a variable low-pass filter (40–140Hz), phase adjustment (0–180°), and dual RCA/LFE inputs.

One spec needs clearing up, though: the feature blurb calls it sealed, while the technical sheet lists it as active bass reflex.

Jamo lists a 150W Class D amp (with a 300W max figure) and quotes a 30Hz–250Hz (±3dB) bandwidth, with a low-frequency cut-off at 20Hz (–6dB).

Controls cover a 40–140Hz low-pass filter, 0–180° phase, and an EQ boost at 55Hz. Connectivity is dual RCA plus LFE, with Auto/On modes.

It measures 14.2 x 14.4 x 11.6 inches and weighs 26lb.

The Story So Far

Jamo’s 2026 strategy positions the Concert Legacy range for traditional hi-fi listeners who prioritise Danish design and build in their systems. In contrast, the Concert Element range is positioned for style-focused consumers seeking slimmer, design-centric speakers suitable for modern living spaces.

Currently, there is no centre speaker, dedicated surrounds, or subwoofer announced for the Concert Legacy, which could indicate this range will be two-channel-focused.

Shipping is scheduled to begin in August 2026. Attendees at High End Vienna 2026 can view the ranges in person from 4–7 June.

The Concert Legacy range comes in Onyx, Heritage, and Northern Frost finishes and is priced as follows: Concert Legacy 11: US$7,999 | €8,999; Concert Legacy 9: US$5,299 | €5,499; Concert Legacy 8: US$2,999 | €3,299

The Concert Element line is available in the Onyx and Northern Frost finishes and priced as follows: Concert Element 90: US$2,499 | €2,599; Concert Element 70: US$1,899 | €1,999; Concert Element 50: US$1,099 | €1,159; Concert Element SW10: US$699 | €729.
