The Houchmand M1 System has undergone three years of meticulous refinement and engineering since its debut at High End Munich 2022, and the brand says it is now in its final production-ready form.

The M1 System consists of a Monobloc Player and two active M1 speakers, which together promise to create a genuinely immersive, high-fidelity listening experience, whether wired or wireless.

At the heart of this high-end offering is the 11kg Houchmand Monobloc Player. Measuring 5.2x31.5x22.9cm (HxWxD), it has the likes of Spotify, Qobuz, TIDAL, and Deezer baked in and delivers audio up to 24-bit/192kHz Hi-Res over wired connections and up to 24-bit/96kHz wirelessly.

The player also features room compensation EQ to optimise the audio for your listening space. This also appears to be controlled via Houchmand's own app (iOS and Android).

The 103×19×25 cm (HxWxD) M1 Speakers are an active three-way design featuring a coaxial midrange driver and tweeter, delivering "exceptional clarity, balance, and immersive soundstaging." Additionally, there is an option to include the matching S1 subwoofer to enhance the audio experience. Unfortunately, no other specs are revealed in the press release or the brand's website.

The Monobloc connects to the speakers using what Houchmand calls "Purity Path Technology." The German company claims this technology maintains absolute signal integrity from source to speaker, promising "an untouched, uninterrupted audio signal" with "unparalleled transparency and lifelike presence."
Each Houchmand Audio system is handcrafted in Germany and is available in finishes of 24ct gold, 18ct rosé gold, platinum, and ruthenium. Moreover, thanks to customisable RAL and NCS colour options, the M1 System seamlessly integrates into luxury interiors, transforming into a functional work of art.

The Houchmand M1 System includes a pair of M1 Speakers, a Monobloc Player, and a remote control and costs £58,995 / €58,500. The optional S1 Subwoofer (available with either analogue or digital input via RCA) sells for £19,995 / €19,500. Thus, the total investment for the complete system amounts to £78,990 (approximately US$102,080 / A$161,680).
You can arrange a private listening demonstration at this year's High End Munich show, where the system will be showcased in 18ct rosé gold and piano black lacquer, connected with handmade cables from ZenSati at Hall 3, Stand R12.
