High End Munich 2020 has presented Alan Parsons as the face of the international hi-fi trade show, which takes place from 14th to 17th May in the MOC Munich. High End Society, the organiser of the show, states this is a continuation of the theme started in 2018 of enlisting a prominent artist to underscore the symbiosis between music and technology.

At the High End, over 500 international exhibitors present high-quality products that promise excellent sound reproduction.

Stefan Dreischärf, Managing Director of the High End Society Service GmbH, told StereoNET:

Alan Parsons embodies this symbiosis like no other artist. With his superb recording technology, he is extraordinarily successful at bringing the magic of his compositions to our living rooms.

Alan Parsons has been Grammy-nominated 13 times and, in 2018, he received the coveted award for Best Immersive Audio Album.

London-born Parsons launched his career at the famous Abbey Road Studios. Here he collaborated as an assistant on the last two Beatles albums before becoming known as the sound engineer on audiophile favourite, Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon.

In 1975, with the Alan Parsons Project, he went on to forge a name for himself penning his own songs. Apparently, Lucifer remains the theme tune for Monitor, a political weekly show on German TV.

Still very active, Parsons released his new studio album, The Secret, last year and toured America and Europe with the Alan Parsons Live Project. Additionally, he took to the stage alongside other stars, during the Night of the Proms, at the end of 2019.  This year he will be the featured guest at the High End 2020 in Munich.
