Sanskrit for 'life force' the Prana is Goldmund's most compact offering but, as usual, do not lack technical wizardry as well as outstanding performance.

The all-aluminium construction and Swiss precision are standard Goldmund traits as is its high-end wireless audio technology. We have reviewed the brand's speakers and hub previously and was bowled over by just how non-digital their tech sounds.

Goldmund Prana

Prana offers a 3-way active design featuring a 229mm Audio Technology bass-driver hooked-up to a 250W Telos amplifier within the lower, reflex-loaded enclosure. Additionally, there's a 25mm Scanspeak tweeter plus a 178mm Audio Technology mid-driver in the upper, sealed enclosure. These units are each powered by their own 175W Telos amplifiers.

The smarts behind the Prana is courtesy of the Goldmund Proteus Mathematical model. The £67,500 smart active speaker's DSPs include Leonardo 2 technology (the latest version of Goldmund’s time alignment correction algorithm), digital crossovers, gains, and delays.
