The FI-UK is Furutech’s top-of-range, high-performance plug, constructed specifically for the UK mains power supply.
Up until now, you had the choice of two versions, ‘R’ and ‘G’, denoting rhodium or 24k gold plating of the hybrid copper conductors.
However, Furutech tells us that they were consistently asked by UK customers:
How about a silver-plated version too?
Well, Furutech has responded with the FI-UK (S) power connector.
The new 2-pole + earth plug is rated for 250V AC fitted with a 13A fuse. The conductors are silver-plated, and the connector is housed in a fireproof ABS body.
The FI-UK’s conductors are treated with Furutech’s trademark two-stage ‘Alpha’ cryogenic and demagnetisation process, designed to render all metals stress-free, stable and highly electrically conductive. The result of this treatment is to enable that all-important Furutech goal of “pure transmission”.
The FI-UK (S) can accommodate cable diameters of 6-20mm with large, high-quality cable clamps/grips.
