The Fred Perry x Pro-Ject turntable is more than simply attaching a logo to a model already available. Instead, we are told that the design team took inspiration from Pro-Ject's Essential III and the Applause Award-winning Debut Carbon EVO, resulting in "a handsomely equipped premium turntable".
The Fred Perry turntable features a built-in adjustable phono pre-amp, pre-set aluminium tonearm, pre-installed Ortofon OM 10 cartridge with an elliptical diamond stylus, and speed adjustments of 33 and 45RPM.
Naturally, a Fred Perry turntable must look, as well as sound, exceptional. Perry boasted, "I was generally regarded as the best-dressed player of my time," and this new deck is just as well turned out. The new model comes in three colourways, based on a trio of classic Fred Perry shirts alongside the famous Fred Perry Laurel Wreath on the acrylic platter mat.
The result is a deck that looks as slick as it sounds.
