With a sharpened mission to make high-fidelity audio more accessible, the company introduced a complete HiFi ecosystem designed to appeal to both seasoned audiophiles and a new generation of listeners.

Under the theme “Building an Inclusive HiFi Ecosystem for Audiophiles Worldwide,” Fosi revealed a series of upcoming products and its revamped brand philosophy, headlined by the i5 planar magnetic headphones and SP601 passive bookshelf speakers. It marks a significant evolution for the brand, signalling its transition from value-driven components to a more holistic and future-forward approach to home audio.

Fosi Audio’s newly minted slogan — “Hear the Unheard” — encapsulates the company’s focus on innovation and inclusivity. With a promise to “redefine HiFi with unmatched value,” the company is positioning itself as a challenger in the traditional audiophile space, blending premium design, forward-thinking tech, and affordability.

At the heart of Fosi’s refresh is a user-first philosophy, represented by the four pillars behind its name: Foresight, Openness, Sincerity, and Innovation. That mindset has informed a suite of interconnected HiFi products spanning source devices like the Luna 3 turntable and Merak CD player to the ZP3 preamp, E30 DAC amplifier, headphones, and new loudspeakers—the goal: a cohesive system that simplifies high-performance audio without compromise.

AXPONA attendees were given a preview of this approach in action, with Fosi’s stand offering hands-on demos of the forthcoming product range. Among the highlights was the new SP601 passive speaker, featuring a 6.5-inch paper-aluminium composite woofer, 1.5-inch silk dome tweeter, and rear-ported cabinet. Fosi says the design delivers fast transients, extended highs, and tight low-end, equally suited to both two-channel listening and home cinema use.

Also drawing attention were the i5 Planar Magnetic Headphones, which combine a 97mm nano diaphragm with an innovative damping back cavity and sputtering tech to control resonance and improve detail retrieval. Ergonomically, the i5 is built for comfort with memory-metal headbands, breathable ear cushions, and a soft-touch adjustable fit—pitched at both casual and critical listeners alike.

Speaking at the show, Fosi Audio founder Ryan Huang expanded on the company’s broader vision, highlighting a desire to democratise high-fidelity sound:

Make HiFi not a luxury for the few, but an art of sound that can be enjoyed by audiophiles and music lovers around the world.

The Fosi i5 headphones will officially launch via Kickstarter on April 22, priced at US$549.99, while the SP601 passive bookshelf speakers are slated for release in May with a suggested retail price of US$499.99. Regional pricing and availability are yet to be confirmed.
