DALI KUPID Targets New Generation of Music Lovers

DALI reckons you'll fall in love with KUPID's performance and price.
DALI's KUPID is a compact, high-performance loudspeaker that boasts a stylish, premium finish while also representing a new entry point to genuine high-quality Hi-Fi sound.

While the new loudspeaker might make DALI sound like a lover, not a fighter, Danish Audiophile Loudspeaker Industries is not pulling any punches as it vows to combine "iconic DALI sound with fresh aesthetics, advanced technology and a fuss-free setup with all hi-fi amplifiers and systems."
Designed and engineered in-house in Denmark, KUPID shares the DNA of precision, performance, and musicality found in the company's Kore and Epikore lines — but delivers it in a smaller, more approachable package ideal for modern living spaces.

KUPID features a proprietary 4½-inch paper and wood-fibre bass/midrange driver, ferrite magnet system, and low-loss rubber surround, which DALI states ensures fast, tight bass and a dynamic midrange, both hallmarks of the brand's signature sound.

Meanwhile, a custom-developed 26mm ultra-light, soft-dome tweeter promises detailed, extended highs with smooth dispersion and minimal distortion. We're told the tweeter baffle design is carefully tuned for "seamless integration with the midrange driver," ensuring a natural and cohesive soundstage.
Together, these components work in concert thanks to custom crossovers designed for precise timing, smooth roll-off, and exceptional clarity throughout its claimed 63 – 25,000 Hz ±3 dB frequency range, so says DALI. Sensitivity is listed as 83 dB @ 1 m for 2.83 V.

Around the rear, KUPID's dual flare bass reflex port has been "precisely time-aligned" to optimise airflow and "minimise unwanted resonances, resulting in low distortion and impressively deep bass" for a speaker of this size. DALI highlights that KUPID works well at low and high volumes and up to just an inch away from the rear boundary wall.

With a claimed consistent impedance of over 4 ohms, KUPID should work well with a wide range of amplifiers, including the budget-friendly and all-in-one models and streaming systems it will most likely be partnered with.

Adding to KUPID's versatility, wall brackets are also included in the package alongside rubber feet, making setup easy in any home.
More than just a new speaker, KUPID marks a new chapter in DALI's mission to make real Hi-Fi accessible to a broader audience by focusing on what matters — sound quality, build integrity, and aesthetic appeal.

KUPID launches in five finishes: Black Ash, Walnut, Caramel White, Golden Yellow, and Chilly Blue, each featuring colour-matched bass/midrange cones and textured magnetic grilles.
Krestian Pedersen, DALI Head of Product Management, notes, "KUPID is about falling in love with music again. It's pure DALI — just distilled, simplified and reimagined for today's listener"
DALI KUPID is available from October 1st 2025, and is priced at £299 | €338 per pair.
