The Grand Luna is Campfire Audio's latest in-ear monitor. Not a company to shy away from eye-catching designs (remember the Alien Brain?) CA's Grand Luna sports a distinctive angular aesthetic with a flash of red.
The new IEMs combine a set of 14mm planar magnetic drivers partnered with twin balanced armatures, aiming for a listening experience that is "smooth, non-fatiguing" by utilising the planar drivers' "deep-reaching, and powerful" skills in the mid and low range while the BA units handle high-frequencies (up to 30kHz we're told) with "deft precision and brilliance," according to Campfire Audio. The drivers are also said to benefit from the company's Additive Acoustic Optical Inclusion (AAOI) housing, which spatially tunes the drivers through precision-engineered acoustic chambers built into the housing.
Externally, each earphone unit is housed in a transparent, 3D-printed red shell. The Grand Luna features a stainless-steel lid hand-finished at Campfire's workshop, while the earpieces themselves feature a flame-treated Campfire Audio logo and a textured stainless-steel finish.

The Grand Luna boasts Campfire Audio's new modular cable system, which comes bundled with three interchangeable terminations: 3.5mm single-ended, 4.4mm balanced, and a USB-C DAC module powered by a Cirrus Logic Master HiFi CS43131 chip.
