"More powerful, immersive playback, improved bass weight and refined dynamics" - that's what Cambridge pledges for the Melomania P100 SE, its updated version of the brand's first over-ear headphones.

Moreover, the P100 SE also introduces Cambridge's proprietary DynamEQ technology to ensure that every detail remains intact and balanced, even at low volumes. By subtly adjusting the bass and treble through the volume curve, P100 SE promises every track sounds full and natural, regardless of your listening level.

Cambridge vows a weightier lower end and more refined dynamics, combined with a transparent, balanced profile that teems with textural detail.
The P100 SE features a custom 40mm composite neodymium driver, alongside Class A/B amplification—the same technology found in Cambridge Audio's CX line of hi-fi amplifiers—and support for aptX Lossless, which delivers CD-quality streaming (16-bit/44.1kHz audio) via Bluetooth 5.3.

Additionally, the P100 SE's headband has been re-engineered to provide "exceptional comfort for every head shape" thanks to increased amounts of cushioning, with a clamping force calibrated for a variety of head sizes.

The new P100 SE retains the predecessor's battery stamina of up to 60 hours with ANC switched on, rising to an impressive 100 hours when noise cancelling is turned off. Fast charging capabilities, meanwhile, give you four hours (or two hours with ANC) of playback from an emergency five-minute boost from a USB-C charge.

The recently revamped Melomania Connect app enables you to shape the sound via six presets or manually tweak the sonics to a precise degree with a detailed seven-band EQ.
The P100 SE also features a low-latency gaming mode, reducing latency to just 80ms for near-perfect screen and sound synchronisation while playing the latest games.

The Cambridge Audio Melomania P100 SE is now available in white, black, and a new blue finish, priced at £249 | US$299 | €279, with pricing in other regions pending confirmation.
