Braun Audio Appoints Premium Sound as First Authorised Australian Stockist

Braun Audio's Australian distributor, Aqipa, has appointed its first authorised stockist of a timeless reinvention of its classic LE Speakers from 1959.
A global pandemic may have slowed things down somewhat. Still, a few short years later, Braun Audio's Australian distributor, Aqipa, has appointed its first authorised stockist of a timeless reinvention of its classic LE Speakers from 1959.

Christopher Scott, General Manager of Aqipa APAC, told StereoNET:
Braun Audio has a strong history of innovation and design and we are delighted to be part of this welcome return. The new LE Series combines Braun's iconic design ethos with the latest audio innovations to deliver an outstanding premium audio experience.

From the 1st of September, the range will be ready to audition at Premium Sound's luxurious St Kilda showrooms in Melbourne. Rob Bergervoet and Jonathan Dugdale, owners of Premium Sound, added:
We stand by our promises of impeccable customer service, offering the best quality products in the market and a showroom experience based on spending time and freedom of choice. We look forward to demonstrating Braun Audio, as much as displaying its beautiful designs.

The LE speakers encapsulate the enduring, essentialist design values of a brand steeped in heritage and craftsmanship. The LE range comprises three speakers, the flagship model LE01, mid-sized LE02 and compact LE03. These premium Hi-Fi smart speakers are available in black or white, tuned to perfection and built to stand the test of time. Optional floor stands are also available for each of the models.

All LE speakers are engineered to deliver exceptional detail and clarity at any volume setting. And the unparalleled dispersion of the Balanced Mode Radiator (BMR) drive units provides a near 180-degree soundstage, meaning that the units are always easy to position without the worry of a specific sweet spot of traditional speakers.

The LE speakers have multiroom functionality and can also be wirelessly stereo paired. Individually, when positioned in landscape mode, LE01 and LE02 will perform as perfect integrated stereo speakers. When in portrait orientation, using floor stands or wall mounts, they can be configured into a stereo pair with each speaker assuming single audio channel duties (left or right).

Placement EQ settings in the mobile app will tailor the playback dependent on where the speaker is in the room to achieve the authentic Braun sound. The Braun Audio app will also allow additional manual fine-tuning to deliver preferred bass and treble levels.
The LE speakers sell in Australia for $490.00 (LE03), $990.00 (LE02 - including table stand) and $1,990.00 (LE01 - also including table stand).
