The Formation Flex features the same decoupled double-dome tweeter tech found in the award-winning 600 series speakers. This means that you get the same clear sound quality as the popular wired speaker.
The Flex is equipped with a 100mm woven glass fibre Mid/bass driver derived from the M-1, and everything is pushed along by a 100w amp.

Taking the simple set-up already used by the existing Formation series speakers, you'll be playing music through the Flex in moments.
Naturally, you can use the Formation Flex as a stand-alone wireless speaker capable of 96/24 bit audio resolution; however, you can also use two to create a stereo pair.
Furthermore, add the Flex to any other Formation speakers, thanks to the patented robust Mesh Network for a whole-home system. Alternatively, use them as an immersive 5.1 surround sound experience.
Finally, you know the Formation Flex will sound good. Just like the rest of the Formation series, the Flex is tuned by the same Bowers & Wilkins engineers that created the legendary 800 Series Diamond.
Bowers & Wilkins CEO, Greg Lee, told StereoNET:
Once again, we’re introducing world-class modern design – a product that is purposely built for superior acoustics but designed to fit into your home aesthetic and make a statement. And one of the key features is the full home scalability, the Flex lets the consumer expand through the entire home with additional Formation products that we introduced in the Spring.
Price and availability
Formation Flex will be launched in the UK at the end of September and will be priced at £399.
