Bonawatt x Feel Flows Audio Partnership Brings Polish Amps to the UK Audio Scene
Bonawatt, a Polish high-fidelity amplifier manufacturer, has teamed up with Scottish-based Feel Flows Audio distribution to make its products available in the UK.
According to the press release, Bonawatt's amplifiers are "handcrafted" in Poland and "fuse the emotive depth of classic tube sound with the precision and flexibility of modern engineering."
The current range includes the Tamesis, a Class A valve amplifier, and the Triton, a powerful hybrid model featuring modular expansion and modern control. Both are said to boast "meticulous build quality and design philosophy."
Tamesis is listed as a single-ended, ultra-linear integrated valve amplifier operating in pure Class A. It promises to deliver harmonically rich, emotionally expressive sound that captures the texture and soul of music with refined valve character.
Meanwhile, the Triton is a 250W hybrid integrated amplifier pairing a valve preamp stage with a high-efficiency Class D output.
Designed in collaboration with MuzgAUDIO, it features modular expansion slots, allowing you to add DACs, phono stages, and Bluetooth modules. This is an elegant way of offering bespoke system configuration for modern listeners.
We are told that Bonawatt's secret sauce is its dedication to preserving signal purity and tonal nuance. In the Triton, a unique signal conversion system using 16 parallel operational amplifiers ensures the valve preamp defines the amplifier's sonic character while the power stage delivers headroom and control. Subtle details such as tube preheating and cooling protocols, anti-vibration mounting, and intuitive remote operation reflect Bonawatt's holistic approach to design.
