Lenbrook's BluOS multi-room music management platform has received a raft of enhancements with the release of version 3.8.

BluOS users will be prompted to update their BluOS players which, once completed, will then hand them access to numerous improvements, including Apple AirPlay 2 on NAD M12 and M32 units sporting an MDC BluOS 2i card. Additionally, POWERNODE products can join Bluesound Home Theater groups, and the BLUESOUND VAULT and Masters M50 products are awarded MQA-CD ripping support. The latter also gets MQA-CD playback. The update also gives the NAD Masters M10 new front panel layouts.
MQA-CD Playback and Ripping

BLUESOUND's VAULT and NAD Masters M50.2 BluOS Enabled players will be able to rip and store MQA-CDs. The CD remains a popular medium, and the unique way in which MQA-CDs are encoded allows them to deliver studio-quality sound in the CD format, according to the brand. NAD Masters M50 and M50.2 owners will have the additional ability to decode and playback MQA content from an MQA-CD.
The Bluesound POWERNODE 2i Surround Sound

Bluesound's POWERNODE has proved to be a popular hi-res streaming amplifier, and thanks to the latest update, it can now be used as part of a wireless BluOS Home Theater setup playing Dolby Digital surround sound.

Using a POWERNODE 2i (with HDMI) or a Soundbar 2i as the primary source connected to a TV and acting as the front left and right channels, you can use a pair of PULSE FLEXes or any generation of POWERNODE as rear channels. Setting up a home theatre group promises to be simple via the intuitive BluOS Controller wizard.

Greater Control for Integrators
Custom integrators in the residential and commercial sectors will have greater control over their players, including expanded IR learning abilities and the option to disable zones in key rack-mounted streaming products.
The update is available now through your BluOS connected device.
