Aurender Unveils N50 and A1 15th Anniversary at Munich

Aurender marked its 15th anniversary with two major product launches at High End Munich 2025, unveiling the N50 and limited-edition A1 music servers.
Aurender marked its 15th anniversary in style last week at the Munich High End Show 2025, unveiling two high-performance music servers designed to push the limits of digital audio fidelity: the all-new N50 and the limited-edition A1 15th Anniversary Analog Music Server.

Making their world premiere at Europe’s premier hi-fi exhibition, the two new models underscore Aurender’s continued pursuit of sonic excellence. Each is tailored to meet the demands of discerning audiophiles, from high-resolution streaming to top-tier analogue output.
According to Aurender, the N50 sets out to redefine what’s possible in a music server. Focusing on delivering a quiet, immersive, and natural listening experience, it is built around a Triple-Module Architecture that physically isolates the power supply, server, and audio circuitry. This separation minimises internal interference, contributing to what Aurender describes as a "pitch-black background and vast soundstage."

Its high-end components include dual toroidal transformers with multi-layer AC and DC filtering, and an OCXO clock governed by FPGA control, offering ultra-low jitter and supporting external master clock inputs. The chassis is milled from three layers of machined aluminium for maximum rigidity and isolation. At the same time, the connectivity suite includes I2S and MSB Pro ISL digital outputs, a dedicated low-noise USB output, and dual AES/EBU terminals. Audio support stretches to DSD1024 (native via USB) and PCM up to 768kHz, ensuring compatibility with the most demanding formats.
Inside, the N50 runs on an Intel Quad Core processor with 8GB RAM, managed via an 8.8-inch full-colour IPS display. Two user-installable 2.5-inch drive bays and a 480GB NVMe SSD support system and cache functions. The server integrates seamlessly with major streaming platforms, including TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify, and Roon Ready services.

Also making its debut in Munich was the A1 15th Anniversary, a special edition music server limited to just 300 units worldwide. Designed to celebrate the brand’s legacy while looking to the future, the A1 is an all-in-one digital hub with a decidedly analogue soul.

Central to its sonic performance is a Quad DAC architecture built around four AKM4499EX chips (two per channel), delivering outstanding channel separation and a natural tonal balance. A full Class A discrete output stage enhances musicality and dynamics, while an R2R volume control ensures precision without compromising signal integrity. Visually and functionally, the A1 features a commemorative gold plate and an ergonomic rotary remote controller, blending tactile elegance with practical usability.
On the streaming side, the A1 offers native support for AirPlay, Chromecast, TIDAL Connect, Qobuz, Spotify Connect, and Roon Ready. At the same time, input flexibility spans USB-Audio, HDMI ARC, Bluetooth (lossless), I2S, and AES/EBU. For headphone enthusiasts, the unit provides unbalanced 3.5mm and 6.3mm jacks along with a balanced 4.4mm Sony-compatible output, all powered by the same robust analogue circuitry used in the main outputs.

Both models were on active demonstration at Aurender’s booth, drawing attention for their build quality, intuitive operation, and sonic transparency. If these two releases are any indication, Aurender’s next 15 years are likely to be just as boundary-pushing as the first.

The new N50 will retail for US$35,000, with the A1 15th Anniversary model priced at US$20,000. Regional pricing and availability are expected to follow soon.
