Audio‑Technica’s new ATSP‑30 network ceiling speaker series targets meeting rooms and collaboration spaces that require clear speech, robust multimedia playback, and easy integration with networked AV systems.

The lineup includes the ATSP‑30LP (LINK) and ATSP‑30DP (Dante), both sold as an active/passive pair. They mount flush into drop or hard ceilings, offer a 140° coverage angle, and deliver full‑range sound that’s just as comfortable handling voice as it is background music or video audio.

Designed to slot straight into Audio‑Technica’s ATDM SmartMixer ecosystem, the speakers run over standard Cat5e or better cabling, reducing the wiring headaches of traditional analogue installs. Moreover, multiple pairs can be deployed with independent routing, making zone control easy in divisible rooms or multi‑purpose spaces.

Onboard DSP brings EQ, delay and preset control via the mixer interface or Dante software. System designers also get EASE compatibility, Audio‑Technica’s Speaker Layout Tool, and a LINK Simulator app to help plan larger setups.

Despite their compact footprint, the speakers deliver strong low‑mid performance, and their paintable metal grilles help them blend into most ceilings. They’re also UL 2043 compliant for plenum spaces.
