Promising a mix of beloved classics, global award-winners, and perhaps a few surprises. The flagship BA2 stand mount loudspeaker is backed by popular demand — a 6.5-inch, 2-way design featuring a RAAL ribbon tweeter.

While not a new release, the BA2 returns to the spotlight following its “Best Room” accolade at the prestigious THE High-End Show in Newport, USA, where it turned heads with its balance of precision and musicality.
Serhan Swift also confirmed a floor-standing version of the BA2 is in development, hinting at what’s next for the top end of their catalogue.

Joining the BA2 is the critically acclaimed mu2 Mk II stand mount. With its compact 5.5-inch driver configuration, the mu2 Mk II continues to defy expectations, regularly drawing the reaction “Where’s the sub?” from unsuspecting listeners.
For those craving more scale, the mu3F floor-standing model will also be on demo. Carrying forward the signature Serhan Swift voicing, the mu3F adds a second 5.5-inch driver and employs a proprietary Differential Bass Loading (DBL) system. This setup features separate tuning and crossovers for each driver, which the company says helps achieve flatter impedance and improved phase alignment.

Serhan Swift’s source of choice for the show is the all-in-one Boulder 866 integrated amplifier, complete with onboard DAC and streaming capability. The brand’s ethos, however, goes beyond flagship pairings.

Engineering Director and co-founder Morris Swift told StereoNET:
As in previous years, we’ll also be demonstrating the mu2’s in easily affordable systems. While our speakers are clearly up to the task of showcasing all the attributes of high-end gear — in fact, they revel in it — they don’t rely on expensive electronics to put on a truly impressive performance. There’s no smoke and mirrors in our demonstrations.
Swift added that the Hi-Fi Show isn’t just an opportunity to make an impression — it’s a chance to listen and evolve.
Our principal designer, Brad Serhan, has the rare talent — acquired over decades — of designing speakers that are totally accurate and precise but still bring music to life in a way that’s believable, immersive, and emotionally engaging. And that’s not easy or common.
While the tech specs matter, Serhan Swift believes it’s the emotional connection that really defines their speakers. "We hope visitors to the Hi-Fi Show will come see us and experience what we’re about. You really have to hear it to understand what makes it special, and why our mantra is ‘you just gotta wanna listen’."
Less visibly, Serhan Swift continues to support other Australian audio manufacturers through design and consulting work, something the team is happy to discuss during the show.

Room 3320 is shaping up to be a must-visit for anyone interested in proudly Australian loudspeaker engineering done right.
The StereoNET Hi-Fi & AV Show takes place August 29-31 at the Pullman Melbourne Albert Park. Full show details and tickets are available via the link below.
