Atlas Cables Launches Five New Products

Atlas Cables is set to debut its latest upgrades in power delivery, interconnects, and headphone cables.

The Scottish cable specialist, Atlas Cables, will introduce five new products across three categories, featuring an innovative topology for its analogue interconnects, upgrade options for portable headphones, and a new high-end power cable.

Atlas Zeno Seraphic Headphone Cable

The Atlas Zeno Seraphic is a premium headphone cable designed to enhance detail retrieval while minimising handling noise. It serves as an aftermarket upgrade for high-quality headphones, replacing the standard cables typically provided.

The Zeno Seraphic utilises OCC (Ohno Continuous Cast) copper conductors and a wideband FEP (fluorinated ethylene propylene) dielectric, encased in a soft PVC inner liner and a fabric jacket for improved comfort and durability.

Terminations accommodate both portable and desktop applications, including Metik 3.5mm TRS, balanced TRRS (2.5mm, 3.5mm, 4.4mm), as well as MMCX, 2.5mm mono, 3.5mm mono, and 4-pin mini-XLR options.

Atlas Hyper Duo XLR Interconnects

The Atlas Hyper Duo XLR interconnects introduce the Scottish manufacturer's new "Duo" symmetrical topology to its Aspire-level range. Each hot and cold conductor is individually shielded with woven oxygen-free copper (OFC) shielding and precision-twisted to enhance electromagnetic interference rejection.

This configuration improves common-mode noise rejection, allowing the balanced architecture to operate without an external grounding system. The conductors feature a wideband foamed polyethylene dielectric for improved signal speed, and connections are cold-welded using OFC pins to ensure airtight integrity.

The Hyper Duo XLR is finished in dark fabric with dark chrome plugs, available in lengths ranging from 0.5m to 3.0m.

Atlas Ailsa Duo RCA and XLR Interconnects

The Atlas Ailsa Duo range, also at the Aspire level, showcases the Duo symmetrical conductor layout for both Ultra L (Latik) RCA and OCC XLR terminations. Similar to the Hyper Duo, each conductor—hot and cold—is independently shielded with woven OFC shielding. The conductor pair is precision-twisted to minimise EMI effects and preserve timing and detail. The RCAs benefit from both screens being grounded externally via the Atlas Grun system for effective broadband noise removal.

The Ailsa Duo employs solid-core OCC copper conductors and features a wideband foamed polyethylene dielectric.

The finish includes a titanium-grey fabric sleeve with dark chrome hardware. Standard lengths range from 0.5m to 3.0m, with custom options available upon request.

Atlas Eos Superior 2.5EM Power Cable

The new Atlas Eos Superior 2.5EM power cable is designed to tackle the challenges of today's increasingly noisy mains environments. Factors like wireless networks, Bluetooth devices, and spread-spectrum systems contribute to higher background noise levels. To address this, Atlas has focused on enhanced screening and a low-resistance design.

This cable features 2.5mm² oxygen-free copper conductors suitable for handling large currents and incorporates stratified RF (radio frequency) screening with carbon-loaded and woven metallic layers. Additionally, dual-drain termination ensures rapid earth discharge for induced RF, helping maintain a low noise floor, so we are informed. Mechanical damping and stable dielectrics further reduce vibration-related artefacts.

The Eos Superior 2.5EM offers various termination options, including UK 13A, Schuko, NEMA, and Aus/NZ plugs, as well as IEC C15 and C19 device ends. A hand-stitched titanium fabric finish is standard, with Luxe finishes available at an additional cost.

All four new Atlas Cables products will be available starting September 2025 at the following prices:

  • Atlas Zeno Seraphic Headphone Cable: £395 for 1 meter, £420 for 1.5 meters, and £445 for 2 meters.
  • Atlas Hyper Duo XLR Interconnects: £755 for 0.5 meters, £895 for 1 meter, £1,035 for 1.5 meters, and £1,750 for 2 meters.
  • Atlas Ailsa Duo Ultra L RCA and OCC XLR: £1,150 for 0.5 meters, £1,580 for 0.75 meters, £1,650 for 1 meter, and £1,930 for 2 meters.
  • Atlas Eos Superior 2.5EM Power Cable: Starts at £1,510 for 1 meter, £1,650 for 2 meters, and £1,790 for 3 meters.

Additionally, Atlas will be present at the UK Hi-Fi Show Live 2025, taking place this weekend at the Ascot Racecourse Grandstand.
