Lachie7 Posted September 5, 2023 Posted September 5, 2023 (edited) Further information: This is a complete package of European made speakers sold as a package, though may be willing to split speakers and subs: The beautiful looking and sounding Canton Chrono 520.2 SL, 600mm Atacama Nexus 6i Speaker Stands and 2 x Canton Your Sub Wireless Subwoofers. The speakers are German made, the stands English. I believe I still have the speaker boxes if you want them, and can transport round the Eastern Suburbs or 'leave at the door' for pickup. The Chrono SL speakers are 5 years old in excellent condition, and come with height matched stands. Gloss piano black they are a visual pleaser and only needing 60-100W they are easily driven and are very clear and neutral sounding. To me they really sing with jazz but perform well with all genres. The stands are weight loaded with carefully dried pebble and sand sealed in plastic, thus best kept assembled. Spiked feet, I'm using rubber tips on tiles. The Your Subs are 8 inch, 300W and run from a single transmitter 'Your stick'. Plug and play from the amp or blu-ray Sub output. You get the upgraded Audio Quest Tower for better insulation protection and more oomph in the bass. As a pair they really fill the room, only limited by power point access for ultimate response and placement. These are 5 years old and in excellent condition. I've been using with Tidal Masters off a Fiio BTR 5 and the music has gone next level. I'm now keen to try the Canton Vento range or A35. Glws Thanks Phil, if all things go well, I'm tossing up between the A35 and the Vento 886. Only got a small room, but its quite open and airy, with just a big rug on otherwise all tiles. It's a line call between the bigger woofers of the 886 or the step up in quality of A35... Choices hey
