I recently acquired a pair of Vandersteen Treo CT floorstanders. Before this I had Proac Response D28 speakers which were very good. I had heard read a lot about the Treos and actually auditioned a pair about ten years ago. I felt that these speakers would fit well with my system but you never really know until you try. Now that I have them I'm still pretty shocked at how much of an improvement they have made. A beautiful, full, rich sound. Even my wife noticed a difference and commented on how much they improved the sound. Definitely not cheap but they live up to their reputation. Recommended.

sg60, good write up - yes, they are superb speakers. I had a pair of 5A's and now have a pair of Sevens. Could never part with them.....
