This is one of the rarest arms out there!

it was the top of the range arm pioneer ever produced, I have had most of the top end arms, Sme 3012r, fr64 with 66 stabiliser, sme 312 and so on

nothing compares to this, it is massive! Is the heaviest tonearm I have had, with the nicest fit and finish I have seen, the pictures really don’t do it justice

was keeping this for maybe a cost no object technics sp10 build, but have to realise I don’t really have the room

as I said it is new old stock, never mounted, the head shell is not there, this is how I bought it, they are easy to get for the completists as it also came as the same head shell on a lower turntable 

the counterweight is a thing of beauty! With a complex bellows system inside to act against vibrations in the arm tube and cartridge 

vta on the fly! Massive arm pillar and so on

the last picture shows the arm next to an Alphason to show the scale
