use blackgate 100uf 50v bipolar sufficient liao.  The red color one  :o Oooo but damn its expensive...

almost there with this baby, no prize for guessing what it is.  When done need to go for a showdown with Lord GAGA's Shigaraki IE (Improve & Expanded) version.  This one is using heavy base, acrylic top and soft mount method, hope it performs better than hard mount.

Hi ed.

Nice baby, using cdm4? Should give me the layout so can laser cut the pocket and holes.

Need tainted brown acrylic plate to cover the Alu front plate- foc give me the dimension.

Using 150uF for the passive sub.

Gaga, I have this dying question to ask first!

GAGA was used by your good self as a handle in Echoloft, way before Lady Gaga came to known in the hifi community, did you play any influence on her?  ::) Hahaha... You know her?

Tagging on the thread is fine, I am more or less done with most of my diy projects and these are just the last remaining projects to showcase my works, more just to motivate fellow diyers to continue the quest for audio nirvana through the diy way...

The CDM9 has been there for a long time, I am just merely reproducing and improving the ground works which other pioneers has long laid before me...

My passion has been for tubes and I guess it will stay with me for a long time to come... I have enjoyed every part of it and getting to know people who shared their excellent works through this forum and the then Echoloft...

Too much said... Wait for my update on the completion of the tpt and I look forward to a shootout...  Guess thats what most would be eager to know ya?

Hi Steed,

Don't worry this one is the test module because Ineed to plan layout.  Will let you laser cut when I am done with the prototype.

got it spinning over the long weekend...  sound wise no surprises...

the volume knob is for controlling the outputs to headphones and yes its a 2 in 1...

outputs using default stereo out as I am too lazy to tap the i2s out and there is no space for big scale implementation on such a small chassis...

Ok I think you know where to find the item and collect it.

I tried playing multiple cds on the player, quite satisfied with the result but the output from opamp requires me to crank up with volume of the poweramp.  Other than that all good.

Tried the headphones output, played CaiQin.

Wow Cai Qin vocals were much deeper than I expected...  Rather satisfied with this result too...
