liverpudian Posted August 20, 2008 Posted August 20, 2008 Thinking of converting some of my kid's existing VCDs onto DVDs - for backup & to save physical space (since a 4.7GB DVD is equivalent to more than six 700MB VCDs). Is this possible? Do I need some kind of software to do the conversion before burning them onto a DVD? Can I create each VCDs as separate titles on the DVD or will they be created as diffierent chapters? Likewise is it possible to create a DVD with a mixture of data (eg powerpoint slides), audio (eg mp3, CDs), video (eg VCD, DVD) & photos that can be playback on a DVD player (except the data files of course)? Basically I have some training materials in the various formats above (currently all on different discs). So thinking of combining all into 1 DVD which can then be accessed via a laptop or dvd player. Thanks!

Knight_Rider Posted August 21, 2008 Posted August 21, 2008 Most of the burning software should be fine esp the one that comes with your DVD writer.
