"Jamo's Concert 8 employs some of the most sophisticated loudspeaker drive-unit technology available, and encases it within a sturdily-constructed and beautifully-crafted cabinet. This advanced engineering leads to a fast, dynamic sound for which one would normally expect to pay more. It is a true audiophile component that will bring out the best in high-quality partnering components."

{not the best quality: pick 720p definition..but some idea}

"The Concert 8s are superbly clean and transparent. Their nature will show up any source shortcomings."

Hey chewy if I can comment, this is a great speaker truly analytical and accurate sounding, on a good valve amp musical and different from ML-1 and Proac 1SC to my ears, more refinement due to the better quality Seas Excel magnesium drivers with silver voice coils and more accurate bass due to the larger 6.5" bass driver and larger box ...can't beat physics at the end of the day regardless of what the fanboys say!

Just my 2cents worth ...

Regards,

Steve M.

Thanks Steve for your input - I've compared them with my previous Dynaudio Special 25 and the Jamo were not shamed.

I may end up keeping them but like so many I'm selling to fuel other upgrades.

hi just wondering if you have the jamo stands for the concert8?also are these the d830 or concert 8 and if so how old are they? my next question is in regards to the centre channel how transparent is it and does it communicate voices naturally etc considering it does not use the same drivers as the concert8 and does it seem to be seamless across the front 3 channels. i have the NHT XDA system and at the moment use no centre channel so was considering using this centre channel or maybe your 2 concert8 combined as a centre to maybe match seeing they are seas drivers -of course there is the problem that your speakers are ported so i could be wildly off base here with my attempts to make a similar sounding centre channel. the next option is perhaps get another XDA system or just not use a centre channel appreciate your reply
