Andre281503560612 Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 Hi all. I cant get used to these canalphones so thinking of selling them on and getting myself some good bud stlye phones (Yuin?) They are in extremely good condition. A few years old but in perfect working order. They will come with the Tri-Flange tips, some smaller bi-flange tips and some foamies. I have just put in a pair of new filters as i just bought 3 pairs, so 6 filters in total, which will last you quite a long time. The filter changing tool is from the er-6 series but works fine with these. The carry pouch is also included. Anyways just throwing it out there for now. Any questions or offers please send me a pm or post in here.
HTD Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 Hi what are you asking for the holiest of holy canal headphones. If I may ask?
Andre281503560612 Posted September 6, 2008 Author Posted September 6, 2008 Not sure dude! Im still undecided as to whether i actually want to sell them, so just fielding offers i guess. Im sure the minute i sell them im going to regret it! I just find the earbud style so much more comfortable. My use for them is largely at the poker table, so not for short durations, so i guess i could sacrifice a little sound quality. Hopefully if i grab the Yuin PK2 they wont be TOO much of a step down.
fawlty99 Posted September 6, 2008 Posted September 6, 2008 I've got the 4ps and am quite happy with them. The flange-type attachment takes getting used to but i prefer them to the foam tips. Would be nice if the lead itself was longer. I'm told these work better than active noise cancelling earbuds but can't vouich for that. They are pretty expensive new so I'm sure these would be a good buy for someone.
Andre281503560612 Posted September 7, 2008 Author Posted September 7, 2008 Cheers mate. Do you find the tri-flange comfortable for extended periods of listening? Also are they available only in one size?

Also are they available only in one size? Yes I find them comfortable - more so than the bud type which irritate me after a while. I can't use headphones at all for extended periods as they drive me crazy. The trick to using them is to lift the top of you ear with one hand and twist them in gently with the other. If you moisten them then the seal will be better and external noise will be greatly reduced. I think one size fits all but I could be mistaken.
Andre281503560612 Posted September 8, 2008 Author Posted September 8, 2008 ok all. Assuming i put them on the bay, and dont have the balls to start it at like $1 or whatever ebay recommends, what should i be aiming for? Ideally i would like to start the bidding at an amount id be happy with in case the first bid takes it. Is $180 realistic?
fawlty99 Posted September 8, 2008 Posted September 8, 2008 They sell quite regularly on ebay. From memory around the $200 mark.
Andre281503560612 Posted September 9, 2008 Author Posted September 9, 2008 Thanks for that. Id still be happy with $180 for everything. Will include registered shipping as well. If anyone wants a picture of the buds and all the accessories included drop me a line and i can email one through.
Andre281503560612 Posted September 11, 2008 Author Posted September 11, 2008 $170 including shipping? $160 pickup?
Andre281503560612 Posted September 12, 2008 Author Posted September 12, 2008 On ebay now http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi...em=170261429065
