Tinsanta Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Hi All, Just setting up my Home Theatre and am thing of getting a Epson tw700. I wanted to avoid mounting the projector unless necessary. I have some shelves on the side of the room that would be between 1 and 2 meters to the left of the screen itself. Is it possible to do this? If not with the epson, would the Panasonic be any better? Any help would be appricated.

Tinsanta Posted January 29, 2007 Author Posted January 29, 2007 No Way. Nada, Zilch How far to the left can it be? 1/2 meter... or not at all?
dvduser Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Straight on is the best, once you introduce Keystoning & Lens Shift pq will degrade. Just ceiling mount it and you do away with all the potential problems like ventiliation blockage, KIDS sticky fingers , dust etc.etc.
alfalfa Posted January 30, 2007 Posted January 30, 2007 How far to the left can it be? 1/2 meter... or not at all? Not at all. The furthest you can go is in line with the (left or right) edge of the screen.
