Hi all, Im new to vintage Hi-fi and have next to no idea on servicing the stuff, I basically wanted a decent turntable, speakers and amp but I think I did quite well based on a quick google. Picked up all the above for $120 including original manuals. Would love some advice on getting it up and running. I have no need for the TEAC reel to reel so selling advice for that would also be appreciated. So.. Dual 1229 Bit of dust/muck around the tonearm 33/45/78 speed selector seems stiff start/stop really stiff- dont want to force it for fear of snappage (does it need power for these to work?) power cord has been cut (does it usually run through amp power?) Otherwise, the housing is really nice- lid is perfect and closes flush. Maybe even custom built because it looks different to pictures ive seen?? P77 stylus, this is apparently a good one? JBL L-75 Minuet seem in good nick, not sure what to look at, untested Luxman SQ-505x Amplifier Controls need cleaning-cleaning advice? power cord has been cut... Teac- A4300sx Absolutely no idea about this but it looks in really good shape cosmetically, unfortunately can't test out the powerfor now because it has a USA/Japan power cord TEAC- A-107 I would have no need for this, does it pair with the reel to reel? Turns on and lights up Any help would be brilliant. If you'd like more pics please let me know Thanks, James
