Yes and I'm looking to upgrade to this model too. Somehow the stock is unavailable and I heard this model is discontinued barely after 1 year of its debut. I wonder if this is the trend for mid-range models.

I guess this is another screwed up situation where the whole thing about upgrading to digital TV is not properly well thought through. Too much emphasis is put on to Starhub TV service replacing by the FTA Digital TV while the good master antenna which is still functional, is murdered by this upgrade.

The price seem to be very low in RMB but not including the shipping cost, that is very high.

I have managed to isolate the problem. Unplugged all the HDMI input cables and the FM coaxial connector from the SR5003. Play an hour movie without recurrence but need to further isolate the cables. Suspecting the coaxial FM cable may be the cause that it kick into auto-protect mode.

Hi, I have recently upgraded my processor on my HTPC but when I played a movie using VLC player. The AV amp trip after about 10 mins. This issue recur everytime and I replaced a new HDMI cable but same problem. I wonder if anybody here knows how to reflash the software manually.

I think still the subject is to be observed, instead of replying to his question if that $5 HDMI cable is of any good, it was almost too quick to respond with a suggestion of some other brand from some other seller in the forum. This is IMO not good for the forum as it does not promote inter sharing of experience. But instead it display a certain degree of pushing of product at the slightest opportunity. On the other hand I will respect if the moderator put in some comment on this.
